Описание:В монографии рассмотрено богатство флоры Восточной Европы на трёх уровнях: вид, род, семейство. Получены данные о гамма-разнообразии региона; исследована зависимость этого показателя от площади. Впервые для крупного региона получены данные о зависимости таксономического богатства от комплекса факторов: климата, историко-биогеографических факторов, георазнообразия и антропогенных факторов. Анализируются возможности составления прогноза изменения флоры под действием глобальных климатических изменений. Рассмотрено соотношение уровня богатства и местоположения рефугиумов флоры. Проведено пространственное деление территории по флористическому богатству и ведущим факторам среды, рассмотрено отклонение полученного деления от принятого зонального деления Восточной Европы. Предложена система локальных территорий, которые могут быть использованы для организации мониторинга флоры. Для биологов, экологов, географов и специалистов в области охраны природы.
