Описание:Данная обработка представляет собой первую монографию семейства зонтичных (Umbelliferae = Apiaceae) Российской Федерации в её современных границах. В России встречается 288 видов семейства, относящихся к 108 родам. Два рода (Rhizomatophora и Haloselinum) описаны в монографии как новые, оба выделены в комплексе Peucedanum s. ampl. Некоторые другие таксоны, ранее приводившиеся для страны, но не подтверждённые достоверным гербарным материалом, обсуждаются в комментариях. Составлены традиционные дихотомические ключи для определения родов и видов, а в приложении на CD даётся многовходовый компьютерный ключ для определения видов и фотографии гербарных образцов каждого вида. Для каждого принятого рода приводятся данные протолога, синонимы (если они имеются и могут быть отнесены к видам России), описания, характеристика распространения; обсуждается положение каждого рода в исторической ретроспективе и в свете разнообразных (морфологических и молекулярных) данных.
